Today few words about Renown Ranks in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. I was little surprised, after advancing on 40 Rank, because we are able to advance on ….80 level on Renown Rank, which is very very long process. I think you need to farm (no not gold…) PvP scenarios around 6 months to get this level.

These Renown Points you can get from killed enemy player on scenario or on special areas. After each death points are reduced by exactly 25% of their worth each time your enemy lost his virtual life, of course there is also minimum Renown which is one point. This means that if your opponent fall, he will be worth 25% less Renown and XP for exactly 10 minutes. Now if enemy die again, the timer resets (yeah again 10 minutes) and he will be worth 50% less of Renown Points.

There are also special bonuses for killing enemy on higher then your Rank or handicaps when you’ve got higher rank then your opponent. I’m ain’t sure but probably is 10% RP less or more points for each level of differences. But it’s only my own speculation…
