planning on making some warhammer 40k desert terrain….?
but im not that talented or rich. but luckily i do have some supplies; a 3′x4′x1.5″ board that will be my playing field, a “scenearama” rock making kit with plaster rock molds, plaster mix, and a little bit of talus, tons of paint brushes and paints.
i am planning to make an alien desert landscape with a few mountains, nice red and tan sands, and maybe a structure or two,but i have a few problems,
1, i dont know how to mke convivncing mountains, 2, i dont know how to make structures, 3, i dont have much money, so i just need some ideas and a list of supplies that would be helpful, along with instructions on how to make that,

also, creative suggestions are very welcome, and i plan to get some inexpensive aquarium pieces to make it look more alien, like coral trees and stuff like that. if u have any ideas that’d fit in they are very welcome

Even halloween stuff. Styrofoam is always good to use. get a book from the library and learn to do papermache for mountains. cheap, just newspaper and glue.
plain play sand from walmart. check out Hobby Lobby in the model railroad section. always look in the clarance bins. also check out the silk flower section. for ferns etc. you can use and floral bricks. they are green, brick sized and can be sculpted
