Why do you believe that Pit Bulls should be killed?
I mean come on… I thought we left racial profiling behind a long time ago, and now you’re running after dogs with guns just because they were born a certain way? That’s as much against our morals as you can possibly go. Why do you support BSL and why do you think that Pit Bulls should be killed? Imagine if people went after YOUR dog because a couple of the same kind bit someone. What would you do?
I know you are asking for the pro BSL points of view, but I just had to say something here.
Until they put some laws on the books to really go after the people who breed/fight aggressive dogs, BSL will continue to be a threat. I think BSL is a copout, totally. These dogs dont choose to be bred for aggressiveness, and they dont ask to be trained to kill. It all comes down to people. Its not only pitbulls who are persecuted, they are simply at the top of the list right now because of all the publicity. Mike Vick was fighting Rotties, also, not just Pits, but the Pits got all the bad publicity…and like one person stated, these idiots will find another breed to exploit, or God forbid, create one of their own making. And the publicity has been brought on by people who have been getting into the fighting business more and more and are getting more and more brazen about it….and why?? Because the laws werent being enforced enough and these ignorant asses got careless to the point where it cant be ignored any longer. It should have never gotten so out of hand. (BYBs also need to be put out of business, along with puppy mills.) The thought of these people breeding some super fighting dog…well, the thought scares me silly. So….better laws are the answer, not BSL.
