Can hedgehogs eat ham?

I am wondering if its okay to give my (new baby) African pygmy hedgehog a little bit of ‘boars head’ brand ham (from my sandwich). I am assuming it is but I wanted to make sure! Thanks!

I would be cautious sharing any meats that have salt and seasonings in them. You can share meats as treats with hedgehogs but make sure they aren’t fried or seasoned. You might want to try some cooked, unseasoned chicken, tuna, liver or salmon
