warhammer 40k help?????????????????/?
Ok i will start off with hello
i have been modelling warhemmer 40k for about 4 years and can model and convert my models very well but i am having a problem when i come to paint the i cant get to some of the bits on the model now i was thinking of painting them on the sprue but how do i stick them together without ruining the paint job please help me !!!

Painting on the sprue is rarely a good idea (there are some few exceptions, such as tank tracks). This is because when you cut the item off the sprue you will damage the paintjob and you haven’t tackled the mould lines. Then, if you use just a little too much glue to construct your minis, your paintjob will be ruined by glue distortion as it dries.
Some models are worth part-constructing. The classic example is not attaching the bolters to space marines so one can reach the chest plate and other body details. But in this case, rather than painting the bolter on the sprue, one superglues the bolter to a thin piece of wire (like a paperclip) and paints it there. If the superglue is on the side that will be towards the marine’s chest then you can safely snap the wire off the bolter when it’s painted and glue it to the marine.
Sometimes, using plastic glue on a painted surface will prevent a firm stick. To prevent this, either scratch away a small amount of paint from the area due to be stuck to expose bare plastic, or use superglue instead.
