Warhammer Avatar 
What is the stats for the Avatars Sword in Warhammer 40k? Or its name? I was fighting a screamer killer in close combat and it died (which is rediculous!!!) because my friend claimed the Wailing Doom (which i think is the sword) was only a projectile weapon because it said 12″ in the codex but didnt state anywhere that it was used in close combat!!! i refuse to believe his sword doesnt modify the screamer killers armour save! so i had to attack with no armour penetration!!! someone help me!!!
I used to collect warhammer 40k years and years ago and only just started again, this is my first game since i started again…so forgive me for being a “newb” or whatever
I assume your talking about the Eldar avatar? Because its the newest thing out. His sword is a power weapon and it works in melee and he has a ranged attack too.
If its chaos most likely its a power weapon. If not its a dread Axe. But you can chose any weapon you want on a daemon prince, cause demon weapons can look like anything.
