im only just starting out in warhammer are vampire armies any good also are they hard to paint properly????
Vampires are one of the top tier armies in the game, you can make some VERY tough lists with vampires.
Painting-wise they majority of the models are fairly easy to make to look sharp if you have any experience with inking or dry brushing. The details on characters and some of the larger models, do take a decent amount of skill.
