Choosing the next Warhammer 40k army? 10 points for best answer with description.?
So i am currently playing necrons and am getting bored fast with them. They are fun at first but all the people i play against hate necrons mainly because of the we’ll be back rule. It is getting extremly hard to find games plus the necron army doesn’t have that many choices in units/ upgrades. I am looking for a shooty army with good armor (doesn’t have to be space marine armor but not really low armor like 5+ armor save). Something that can be used both in assault and in shooty( not in the same unit, like a army that has units good at assault and seperate ones good at shooting). Necrons are good and all, just not much to choose from and their tactics are too easy. Tried Tau and didn’t like that much, and just trying to avoid Space Marines in general.
Looking for in army:
1: Has units that are good at mid-range to long-range shooting
2: Has units that are good in assault
3: Has a good variety to choose from
4: Not Tau or Space Marines
IMPERIAL GUARD is a well round good army and there’s a wide range of products to choose from.
CHOAS SM is a great army, because there as powerful as Space Marines but more evil and you can customizer your army more.
ORKS are just good in close combat and no good at long range.
NECRONS are good at long range and have quite a few good things about them in battle eg: “living metal” and “we’ll be back”
in the end its up to which army you find easiest to use. I like armys that are good at long range combat, easy to build and paint and easy to play.
