what Warhammer 40K army i should get?
so i am thinking of 1 of 4 armies
chaos deamons
chaos space marines
necrons
tau
i have read the codexs of each but i still can choose
Chaos deamons are fun, but you are extremely dependent on your dice. Bad dice rolls will kill you. The advantage of deamons is that they treat heavy weapons just the same as small arms because they all have invulns.
Chaos Marines have some tricky tactics but in the end are a differently flavored version of beakies. And they cant mech spam nearly as well. They do get fun deamon princes to play with, though.
Necrons as they are currently are terrible. Just god awful. However, they are set to get a new codex in the near future so now might be a good time to start a space zombie army
Tau are another army that is tough to play. They arnt nearly as bad as necrons, but they still get wiped by even a mediocre Space wolf/blood angel/IG player. The strategy with tau is really just castle up and shoot, which leaves little room for tactical plays.
I personally enjoy orks. ORKS are the most fun army to play. What? you just killed 15 models? If i was a SM player i would be weeping because thats half my army, but as an ork player im laughing because 15 models amounts to 90 points. Oh horror! your 1500 pts of shooting didnt even kill 1/15 of my horde 
I always laugh when i set up my army and my opponent looks across the table with a skeptical look and says “Are you sure that’s only 1500 points?”
