Warhammer 40,000 Tabletop. (Orks or Necrons)?
Hi.
I’ve been playing 40k with Space Marines for around two years and have a large space marine army. However I’m getting bored with them and want to move onto a more independent army. So I was thinking of either to start an Ork or Necron army.
I like both of these armies but am finding it hard to decide between the number-based Orks or the point based Necrons. I would appreciate advice on choosing.
Necrons have one of the toughest ‘tanks’ in the game, little variety in unit choices, you don’t need to be an expert at painting, & you automatically ‘Phase out’ (Lose the game) if your Necron Warriors go below 25%.
Orks, will outnumber most armies by 1-2+. They can actually go eitherways, shooting or CC, and do well (All-shoota squads, can really take down Space Marines fast, since a lot of dice rolls) but be prepared to get at the least 60ish models. If you like converting, aswell, then the orks are for you.
