In oblivion is there a better sword that shadowrend?
Well its a bit obvious what i want to ask…
well first off shadowrend is a blunt weapon not a sword.if you still want to use a sword there is the akavari sunderblade which has disintegrate armor and weapon for 100 points on strike.if your thinking of umbra,all that sword does is soultrap,its no big deal.you can do boethias quest at level 20 and get goldbrand which has fire damage of 22 points.you can always enchant your own sword,the best bet is a daedric longsword. you can also try dawnfang/duskfang fire damage of 15 points and the more souls you feed this weapon the better.if you want to use a blunt weapon you can try nerveshatter which has 34 regular damage then weakness to shock 48%,shock damage 24 points on strike.you can always enchant your own blunt weapon like i did, one of my characters uses a daedric warhammer with a fire damage of 25 points on strike or another one has a daedric warhammer with fire,frost and shock damage of 17 points each.hope this helps.good luck in oblivion.
