Which Warhammer 40k army should I choose?
I want to start playing Warhammer 40k. What are your opinions on Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, Eldar, Dark Eldar and Tau?
I want an army I can use and develop with, even though I’m a starter at this I don’t want an army that’s incredibly easy to use or equally, extremely popular.
Can you give me a little information on these mentioned armies, how they are used and their popularity?

I would recommend space marines. While they are kind of popular there is a lot of room for diversity it terms of what chapter you choose yours to be (or you can make up your own). They are powerful and have good armor, they have a lot of tanks and other vehicles and can deliver powerful blows with a minimal amount of pieces. If you play space marines you wont have a lot of troops because they are stronger than the average soldier and cost more points to play. They can use a variety of weapons (flamethrower, plasma cannon, etc.) and have a lot of cool vehicles. Overall their strategy is to beat the living shit out of the enemy!
