I want to make a Warhammer Wood Elves army without any metal models…?
Can I use models from other armies and paint them in a wood elf scheme? Instead of tree kin, the shop owner said I could use LOTR ents. Are there any other models, High Elf, plastic, that I can use in a Wood Elf army ?
I’m puzzled; why no metals? There are lots of plastics for Wood Elves and you could convert High Elves with Wood Elf bits but it would be easier to mix in a few metals than make your own.
Note that if you use non-Warhammer miniatures (even LOTR) they may not be “tournament legal”.
