the new daemons of chaos/chaos daemons army for warhammer, are they in both warhammer fantasy and 40k?
is it just the bases – and can i use these models in both types of armies?
It is just the bases.
For most club and friendly play it should be perfectly fine to use the square bases for both 40k and WFB. For tournament play, however, you’ll have trouble. Some organizers may well insist on round bases and, once you’ve put your daemons on round bases for 40k and square bases for WFB.
You could make two lots of bases and use 1mmx3mm neodynium magnets to switch your daemons from one to the other, but it would be quite a lot of work and rather time-consuming.
