I don’t know what to do at uni?
I have just finished my AS and I’m hoping to apply to universities in october :O
The AS’s i have done are:
psychology
sociology
media
english
By the end of Alevels, I’m hoping to get ABB or BBB
I’m dropping psychology
I’m really confused though.
I want to go into criminology but then I don’t because I’m scared I might get bored of it and because this course is relitively new, lots of people want to go into it =/
I want to do social work ..but is this recognised? will i get a job that will pay me from £40k + ?
I really enjoy helping other people but I want the job to pay be a good amount
Also if i do take up criminology, which careers can I go into ? i don’t want to go into the forensic bit of it ..
and what well-paid careers are there for social work?

Do a degree where you can get a job out of it when you finished.
I think you would find it difficult to get a £40k job with criminology – you would have to spend some time getting experience + i think criminology might be a niche field, and you may find it tough getting a job in that field……
Looking at your qualifications, and 1. you want to help people, 2. you want to get paid good money – you could do Law………then become a solicitor. be a legal champion for the poor/low income. Then when you get board start working for public clients earning good money.
