Does anyone know where I can get a “game guide creation tool”?
What I mean is a software that allows people to create their own guide books for games of any kind of game ranging from table top board games (like that of the warhammer strategy guides or codexes, etc…) to computer/360/ps2 or 3 (like that of the Oblivion, Final Fantasy or even Lost Odyssey game guide etc…)?
I need to know if there is a tool that I can use to help me create a guide book of my own for my own games ideas.

One software program would never be able to do everything you need. Use Word for the wordprocessing bits, Snagit and Photoshop for the images, and any good DTP software will help with the layout. If you want to get serious about map making you’ll need to use proper CAD software and something like illustrator. I’d probably cheat a little and use 3DRipperDX and 3DsMax to help me with the maps.
Wikis are so much better than guide books, why are you so set against online solutions? These days, very few game players would trust a guide that came from only one person. I have the Oblivion GOTY Prima guide which had 10 professional guide writers, two map makers and two editors.
