Warhammer 40k Model Sculpting: Chaos Lord Daemon Weapons?
I am looking for some daemon weapon styles and Sculpt opinions, I know daemon weapons are two handed weapons but how should i sculpt them? I know the Blood Feeder is a axe, I assume the Bliss giver is a whip, I dont know what the Plague Bringer looks like, and wouldnt the Death Screamer be simular to a vent?
Im mostly looking for a Image of what These daemon weapons should look like according to Games Workshop.
Actually, the reason there’s no picture of what they look like is that it’s up to you.
For a start, they aren’t “two-handed weapons” any more. 5th edition did away with distinctions between one-handed and two-handed weapons. So if you want to convert or sculpt a unique daemonweapon of your own, you’re free to exercise your imagination.
Of course, the weapons are “deity specific”. So a Bloodfeeder need not necessarily be an axe, but it should look Khornate – nice skull icons, dripping blood on the blade, that sort of thing. Similarly, a Blissgiver need not be a whip, but should look appropriately Slaaneshi – elegant, slender, asethetic etc. Nurgle’s signature weapon is a scythe (as wielded by Mortarion and Typhus) but a Plaguebringer doesn’t need to be a scythe as long as it’s suitably Nurglesque – rusty, corroded, with pus and boils and suchlike.
