warhammer 40k (which ARMY!?)?
i have a few tyranids but i was thinking of starting another army either orcs, elder, chaos or dark elder which one should i pick which one is the strongest. should i not get any of those armys and just stick with tyranids??

Tyranids aren’t the easiest army to start with. You need a good eye for distances and an ability to use cover effectively. Well, you need that for all armies, but Tyranids rely on it moreso than most. You could also just go Nidzilla and not have to worry about it. (Nidzilla is an army composition that mainly uses big, slow, monstrous creatures. It’s pretty powerful but generally boring to play with and against.)
Of the other options you’ve listed I’d recommend going with Chaos or Orks. Eldar and Dark Eldar require a bit of finesse, especially Dark Eldar. One mistake could cost you the game with those armies. Chaos and Orks have a bit more resilience. Your dice have a better chance of saving you in case of any errors.
Most of all though, play an army that you enjoy.
