Warhammer 40K Tyranid Army Sketch?
I have thought up a Tyranid a basic army sketch which I am planning to purchase and I would like you to comment and improve this list. I will be mainly playing Space Marines and Dark Angles.

Who, exactly, are the Tyrant Guard guarding?
In other words, you’ve forgotten to include an HQ choice which, I assume, should be a Hive Tyrant.
How many points are you planning on this being? 64 Little Guys, plus 7 Big Guys (plus the Guard) is a big old army. About 2500, depending on what upgrades you give the models. Bear in mind that Gargoyles and Hormagaunts are just Gaunts with specific upgrades, so you’ve got 48 Gaunts and 16 Stealers.
If you haven’t started this army yet, then I suggest breaking it down into manageable bits: ten gaunts, ten stealers, a carnifex and a tyrant would be a good starting point. Throw in your guard, lictor and another ten gaunts for the next stage (once the first lot are done and you’ve given them a playtest or two). Then finish off with the Zoanthropes and another carnifex. Whether you add another lictor and more gaunts and stealers will then be down to your game performance. You might decide to go for a Broodlord, some Raveners or a biovore or two instead.
You may even feel moved to check out the terrifying possibilities on offer from Forgeworld and get yourself something like a Malanthrope, Trygon or Hierophant…
