Warhammer 40k?
I need help finding bloodthirster wings for my hive tyrant. I have it all ready but i cant find the wings ANYWHERE.
some1 help please D=
i cant afford the actual bloodthirster, only the wings =[
and nearest games workshop is 1h 30m away
Unfortunately, GW is phasing out its ability to provide individual bits from its models as part of a rationalization of their factory and stocking procedures. Basically, keeping individual parts available means taking up a huge amount of storage space (especially as the full GW range is immense now) for a service that is really only used by a tiny minority of veteran players.
From now on, the best way to find that special part you've been looking for will be through trading forums. You can find these on all the major forum groups: dakkadakka.com, warseer.com, bolterandchainsword etc. There are also specialist Yahoo! groups dedicated to swapping and trading GW and other manufacturers' parts and pieces.
This isn't limited to just swaps or trades. You can also arrange to "go dutch" with someone who wants different parts from the same kit. So someone who wants the rest of the bloodthirster, for example, might agree to share the cost of a new bloodthirster pack.
Spread yourself widely and don't forget to try your local wargaming club: it may take time, but eventually you'll find that part you're looking for.
Oh, and of course you can always check out eBay.
