Tactics?
Well, answer this:
Do you want a very mobile Space Marine army?
Do you want a sit-back-and-shoot Space Marine army?
Do you want to get up close and punch the enemy in the face Space Marine army?
Theres really no good ‘tactics’ for Space Marines, since they’re the easiest beginner army, have expensive but durable troops, and can basically do everything well, but not EXCEL in them.
Can I also ask what chapter you are doing?
An all around based Space Marine Chapter would normally be one such as the Ultramarines & other codex chapters.
CloseCombat & Assaulting armies are the Blood Angels.
Crimson Fists, Dark Angels, and the like, are all mainly-shooting armies.
Whitescars, Ravenguard, and the like, are fast, and the White Scars use a LOT of bikes, and mount their marines in Rhinos.
Also, you will need another tactical squad with the Assault on Black Reach set for your army to be legal, ;] Also, the other thing you should buy is the codex, if you don’t have it, buy it now!
