Help with Warhammer 40k?
Ive bought the books, including the codex, and have been trying to learn but i cant, could anyone help or have useful advice? I have only one space marine squad and a HQ because me and my friend tried to have squad on squad battles but we cant seem to follow the rules, please help.
The best thing would be if you can find someone locally who already plays try to have them walk you through a few trial games and answer questions.
Otherwise, check around for the various 40K websites, a lot of them have rule Q&A sections that can help clarify things for you, and battle reports that can show the rules in action.
When you and your friend do your initial battles, don’t try to rush them. Look up every step until you get the hang of it. Use the reference sheets with the turn order and some handy charts to help. You’ll make mistakes, but playing a few times will help those mistakes stand out to you when you go back through the rules so you can correct yourself next time.
