Would an on line degree from the University of Phoenix be as high of a quality as from a traditional college?
I would like to get a Bachelor’s in either Finance or Accounting, and have been taking some classes online through University of Phoenix, but have become burnout on the early classes because of the team work and paper writing. I’m beginning to wonder if a degree earned at a traditional college might be more respected in the workplace. Does anyone have advice or experiences with UoP that they would like to share?
If I were an employer I’d have far more respect for the person who attended a traditional college than one who went strictly online. There is no real value in UoP and they are not accredited under the same standards as a traditional university. They’re nothing more than a for-profit diploma mill.
