How is called medical procedure in which you get electricity connected to your head?
That was a while ago, but i remember one procedure while I was in hospital. They gave me something like earphones and said to put it on my head a bit upper than ears. Then they switched on machine connected to those things and asked me to say when I feel electricity. When I said that I feel, they just left me laying on a bed for half hour. What was that? (PS. that was painful)
That must have been strange… I have heard of electroconvulsive therapy, but it is not performed like that! In ECT, you are strapped to a hospital bed and given massive doses of morphine. They put the “earphones” on you, but the electricity is so powerful it is more than painful. In ECT, the purpose is to get a seizure. You should DEFINATELY contact your doctor, and ask him what the hell he was doing!!! I have heard of new procedures with electromagnets, which arent as painful, but those are experimental. Please email me and tell me what your doctor says! (If you didn’t sign any papers saying you were a voluntary research patient, GET A LAWYER! You could sue for alot of money!)
