Can someone build me a Gaming comp?
I was just blessed with a little bit of money and I’ve decided to “invest” in a gaming comp. My current is simply pathetic.
-Price Range is up to about 700
-If you can please use Newegg.com and perhaps link a cart
-no accessories (mice, keyboards, etc) just the computer and its needed parts.
-Of course I want to get the most out of my money so hopefully giving me an approximation of what it can play at what level ( ex: crysis at very high, high,etc.)

*** Apart from first persons. I plan on mainly playing MMOs haven't exactly decided which but its between warhammer online AoC and Lotro ( would it be able to play those at maximum settings) And of course games like starcraft 2 and d3 in the future
It is a common misconception that if you build it yourself, it will be less expensive. Because of quantity buying it is usually cheaper to buy preconfigured.
For 700 youre NOT going to play crysis on very high, but you can make yourself a pretty nice computer for 700. I would buy a preconfigured computer at that price point. You can spend more than that on a vid card alone.
Youre going to need a case, 7200 or 10k hd, 4g ramm, 965 series or above chipset, proc, OS. Assuming youre going to use the same monitor/dvd drive/mouse/kb to save money. The following is a thousand dollars.

later when you get more money, you will want to add a better heatsink. Then you will add a second TWIN of your vid card and run it in SLI or crossfire mode
EDIT: The preconfigured unit the guy beloe me posted is an EXCELLENT value. I’d pop for the one he recommended rather than trying to build one for that price. If you have a bigger budget, I’d build my own. FALCO, gave you a thumbs up
