if sixth edition of warhammer 40k comes out will i be able to use 5th edition units?
so lets say 6th edition comes out next week will i be able to use my 5th edition guys in my army,
also i was given a tactical marine squad from before 5th edition would i be able to use it
any answer appreciated.
The general rule is your models should clearly represent what equipment they have. As Space Marine equipment and options don’t change much between editions your models are unlikely to become invalid. What tends to happen is what may be an ideal squad configuration in one edition isn’t in the next – requiring people to change one or two models around to be highly competative, but what they have still being usable.
It isn’t like the models you have bought are strictly for 5th edition. Many people have miniature armies that are 10, 15 or 20 years old that they use with Games Workshops games still.
