dropping out of Marines PLC?
A little about me, I’m 20 years old, a Cpl in the Marine reserves, and a sophomore in college.
I’m currently in the Marines PLC program, and I’m schedules to ship out in a few weeks for my PLC juniors session. I’m working and putting myself through school: rent, tuition, everything. My only assistance is my reserve GI Bill. Finanacially it is very hard. I was just offered a promotion to a position that pays a salary of 40k per year but it will force me to go school only part time. I know I can’t remain in PLC unless I am a full time college student. My question is, if I explain this to my OSO, and drop out of PLC will they still take me back after I complete my degree?
After completing the first Plc Summer Session, a Plc Officer Candidate is eligible for McTap and McFap. The time at Plc Juniors is paid an E-5′s salary.

The best person to ask is your OSO. Occ is competitive than the Plc at the present time and in two years, could be substantially more competitive than it is currently.
Good Luck!
