Are Dark angels in Warhammer 40k worth it?
I’ve just recently started playing warhammer and I chose Dark Angels as my army. I’ve played a couple times and am not really finding them worth it. They can’t have Ironclad Dreadnoughts, can’t have preditor tanks (as far as I can tell)….etc. I’m not finding really very much upside. What is the upside to the Dark Angels that makes them worth playing?
Two things:
1. Deathwing.
2. Ravenwing.
At the moment, that’s about the only upside of player Dark Angels. That said, stick with it. I’ve heard rumours that a new codex will be published later this year, coming after the Dark Eldar.
In the mean time, you’re better off playing them as standard codex marines.
