starting new army-warhammer 40k?
have been playing warhammer 40k for about a year or two and i have been using tyranids they were ok they look fun but to me they die very easily so i want to try a new army i was looking into orcs until i saw chaos and they look awesome so do orcs but which one is stronger and which one is more fun to have and which one doesn’t cost lots of money i have about $250 and i want to use that on warhammer 40k so what should i buy if i want to use one of those armys?

Tyranids are good but you need the larger ones to win battles. Marines are the cheapest army in terms of getting bang for your bucks. You could try getting second hand models off ebay because they’ll be a lot cheaper than buying new.
If you were to buy a different army new though then you can’t go much wrong with the ‘Assault on Black Reach’ boxed set. It includes orks and marines. If you don’t like marines then sell or swap them for something else. The orks in the box include a warboss, 5 nobs, 20 orks (with 2 heavy weapons) and 3 deffcoptas, a much better selection of troops than came with the ‘Battle for Macragge’ box.
