Any help with designing a IG 40k 1000/2000pts Roster?

I have been playing Warhammer 40k for about ten years. I’ve done just about every army combo I can think of. I just finished my Ultramarine and now want to field some Guard. All of the people that I game with also play marines so i want to field something different. I don’t want to be tank heavy, so looking for help and ideas with how to go.

something like
platoon, commissar yarrik, HQ with meltas, HW with lazors, special with grenade launchers or snipers. I’d add Valkyrie for Yarrik (to move him where he needs), may be sentinels. 1-2 lemans or arty
+something you like.

I’d say – its VERY depends from rosters of people you playing with. I mean – i got few tyranids and eldars to play with – i’d really need flamers if i’d be IG, but since your club is mostly SM – look at their rosters, took something to kill them, took also something they cant kill >_<
