What Warhammer Fantasy army do you think would be best for me?
For Warhammer 40k i like the armies: Space Marines, Tau, and Ork (although orks are against my main “strategy” there just plain cool 
). I like to use long range armies that are more quality over quantity, but i quess it wouldnt matter if I liked the army for other reasons as well. What Fantasy armies would be similar to or mirrors of these 40k armies and my strategy?
Crap answer precinctomega. Obviously i wouldnt be someone who enjoys using long rang and play tyranid. That’s not an answer to the question i asked. The reason I play a certain army isnt because I LOVE the look of the army, although that might be in the decision. It doesnt play as big of a part as “does this army compliment my style?”. Seriously dont embarrass yourself.
If you are looking for an elite ranged attack army there are four ways to go in my mind:
Wood elves
Storm of arrows. Not great in combat, but the most maneuverable army in game so you can better control when and were combats take place and make sure they are in your advantage. They die easily.
Dwarfs
Guns and artillery. VERY static, most shooting is move or fire. Hit hard but not a lot. High toughness and leadership makes them tough to bring down.
High Elves
Blast with magic and arrows. In combat they hit hard and a lot, but they die very easily. 2 Magic bows make it possible to make shooty heroes
Dark elves
Similar to High elves. More shots but maybe a little more fragile in close combat.
