What is a Marine poolee function like?
My recruiter and I talked about these and Im going to start attending them. All I’ve really gotten is that they prepare you physically for boot camp. Does anyone have any details about what these functions may entail? Im excited to be further involved with the Marine Corp, Im just a bit curious.
When I was in Marines DEP, our functions constited of: drill, 11 general orders, sit ups, pull ups/flex arm hang, and 1.5 mile group run. It’s not terrible, I actually like it. Prepared to be screamed at and hear a lot of hoorah’s. They’re making you ready to go; or at least our Gunny did. Good luck! =)
