warhammer online critical error?
when i press play on the launcher, the launcher disappears and says an error has occured warhammer will now terminate. does anyone know the solution to this problem?
Most of the time it seems to be due to not meeting the minimum system requirements, but I agree with everyone else that it’s ridiculous to have the program just crash without saying anything other than “An error occurred — Warhammer will now terminate.” Even the debug log is pretty uninformative – you just have to look at it where it was and guess what the code was doing when it crashed. On top of that, the minimum system requirements are crazy. I’m not going to spend $300 on upgrades and 3 hours messing around with my hardware to run one game that I’ve never tried before. They should have spent less time making cool pictures of ogres and more on Software Engineering 101.
