Can you play Warhammer 40k with high elves?
I just got a pack of Highelves and another highelve metal figure and i am not sure if i can play with it at a tournament or if i can play with them against someone who has got an army from the new Warhammer 40k?
Warhammer Fantasy and 40k are, for all intents and purposes, completely different games with little-to-nothing to do with one another as far as rules go. Tourneys will generally be split into sections, one part of the tourney will be Fantasy, one part 40k, and I suppose if anyone actually plays it, a section for LotR. So, at a tournament, your High Elves will be able to play against other Fantasy armies easily.
Now, 40k DOES have an army similar to the elves, known as the Eldar. Those familiar with Tolkien will note that Eldar is, of course, another name for Elvenkind. They look and act rather radically different from their fantasy brethren, though.
