How to build a strong army on Warhammer 40k?
I have a eldar army and a space marine army. I know that space is better but can u give me advice how to make a stronger army on eldar. I have a dire avenger group, striking scorpions and a swooping hawk group. Help =(
Well, for a start you need another Troops choice for a legal army, so invest in a second Dire Avengers squad to start with.
You also need a good HQ base. I recommend the autarch as a powerful HQ choice with lots of great wargear options to tailor him to your playing style.
Eldar are fragile, and their best advantage is in speed, so consider giving your Dire Avenger squads a Wave Serpent of Falcon tank to carry them around in. This will also give them some great supporting firepower as well as mobility. Dire Avengers are also well supported by a Warlock in each squad to add those valuable Guide, Doom and Fortune rolls as the tides of battle dictate (Guide is awesome when used in the same turn as a Bladestorm).
For extra speed and for vital objective-grabbing, why not look at getting a small jetbike squad, too?
