Can I use Black Templars with Ultramarines in Warhammer 40k?
ive got a squad of Chaplain Grimaldus and 3 servitors from the Black Templars chapter, but am i allowed to use them in my Ultramaries army?
Yes, you can, if the other player lets you. Some players are hard ass, puritist, and obbsesive, and they won’t let you, even though it is legal. But most players will say, “Yeah, that’s OK.” Just make sure that the point list is correct when you do this, and count the Black Templars Servitior price instead of the Ultramarine price, if there is a difference. I think it would be appropriate because the Chaplain and the Servitors could be “assisting” the Ultramarines, but that would be cheesey if they only had 3 Servitors and a Chaplain. But, you can only have Servitors if you have a Master of the Forge or a Techmarine in your army, so if you want to be mostly puritist without being a hard-ass, buy a Techmarine. I also suggest (if you have the money) a Tactical Squad or two, because like I said before, it’s kind of cheesey.
