Help choosing a Warhammer Fantasy Army?
I only have two prerequisites and was hoping to narrow down the choices so that I’d be able to pick one that I would enjoy playing and would therefore allow me to be the most excited about it:
1) Has to be Good… or at least, not Evil
2) Preferably doesn’t require a lot of luck/ dice throwing. (so Skaven’s out)

As well, I don’t enjoy the painting aspect of gaming so if it could be an army that doesn’t require me to be an amazing painter that’d be great
I was going to say Daemons or Warriors of Chaos for evil and Skaven for good so…. High Elves, maybe. They are quite good and are one of the only armies I have trouble fighting. Don’t know much about their stats, except that they normally strike first and are effective against Chaos armies. I play Chaos and I’ve only beaten them twice, and they were both really close calls.
In terms of painting, all armies are difficult, with the possible exception of some Orc units, but I would heavily recommend not going with Orcs. If you want to find out more you should look up the Games Workshop webite and look at some the models. Good luck starting off.
