Are my turtles breeding?
I have a thirty gallon tank (with around 12 inches of water), housing a 3-inch razorback musk and a 2-inch Three Striped Mud Turtle. At first, they were a bit snappy at each other ( I only added the Striped Mud recently), but now they seem to be lying on each other. I don’t know the sexes of each turtle, but could they be mating? And if so, could they have eggs. Because I havent really prepared a sandy part for the tank, for the female to lay eggs in (if I even have a female)? Or is this a sign of agression? Help.
no sir , they stack to get closet to your heat source and if they breed the male with show off his claws to the female , hope i helped
