Is there a 40k army that fits my bill?
yo im new to 40k and i have no idea witch army i want lol well asmuch as i like range i don’t want to get owned in hand to hand. I don’t care about being good or evil and i don’t mind what the army looks like. All i want is a good range with some hand to hand in case the enemy gets close, I play with Alto of people that use indirect ord weapons and terminators so if its possable i would like a army that can take abit of a hammering. If any of you have any ideas please tell me lol
I’ve been playing Orks in 40K for over ten years (since the Second Edition). If you want a race that is built from the ground up for hand-to-hand, then Orks are the way to go. While they have a hard time shooting at an enemy, they are unparalleled in close combat. Also, the point cost per model is relatively low for Orks, allowing you to field huge mobs of models. Your enemy can shoot at you while you rush towards him and you’ll still have plenty of boyz left over to crush him when you reach his front lines (provided that you stay behind cover and out of line of site while running).
All in all, Orks are a lot of fun, and when used correctly they are unstoppable. Good luck!
