warhammer 40K spacemarine:Whirlwind into rhino?
since a few days i started doing black templars but i noticed in the codex their wasn’t the whirlwind which i had and so i thought that i could turn it into a rhino.SO my question is can i turn a whirwind into a rhino? and if i can how?

It’s easy-peasy. Ish.
How easy it will be depends on how you’ve constructed the Whirlwind in the first place. But assuming that you’ve glued the launchers into place, you’ll recall that they are attached to a separate plate glued into the space on the top. You’ll need to cut that plate away from the rest of the hull with a sharp knife (use a new blade, if possible!). Put it to one side, as such things always come in handy.
You’re then left with a gaping hole in the hull, which can be dealt with in one of three ways:
1. Leave it. Rhinos have a top-hatch that can be used as a fire-point, so don’t lose any sleep over a hole in the top.
2. Got to http://www.bitzbox.co.uk and find the parts you need to fill that gap, buy them and stick them into place.
3. Get the resin doors from Forge World and put them in place instead.
You could also build your own top-hatch from plasticard, but that’s fairly advanced stuff.
