Does being a fantasy team owner effect the way you watch games?
If you’re watching a game and a player on your favorite team takes a penalty, you’re agitated and on edge, possibly cursing the day he ever decided to lace ‘em up in the first place during the entire penalty kill. Does it ease your tensions any if the man in the box is on your fantasy roster? Do you find yourself rationalizing, ‘Hey, at least it’s more points for my team’?
I hate to say it but yes it does.I have a goalie from a rival team on my fantasy roster and it kills me to have to root for a shutout.
Could be worse.I could have Tony Romo on my football squad.
