War-hammer Fantasy Vampire V/S Skaven?
I am playing a 500pt game as a Vampire Counts(Blood Dragon). I am very new and the Skaven is kicking me all over the board. Lighting and guns and I don’t know how to get to him? Any help would be great.
I don’t play either of those armies, but I have some limited knowledge about them. How many guns is he fielding? Skaven can be pretty cheap to fight, especially if they go all guns against a slow army (like undead). I’d suggest getting some fast guys (Bats, wolves) who can quickly reach Skaven lines and decimate his gun batteries. Use your wizards to summon more skeletons to pour into the fray. Skeletons cause fear so if you outnumber the enemy with a fear causing unit and defeat the enemy in combat resolution, they automatically break without a break test. This is a very good tactic for running down the enemy and getting some easy points.
