Which Warhammer Fantasy Battles army should I collect?
I am new to Warhammer world, and I’d like to know what army should i collect. I already own “The Island of Blood” set, one regiment of lizardmen Skinks and one regiment of lizardmen Saurus. I’d like to have an army that would be easy to paint, and, later on, play as I don’t play yet. Thank You in advance!

Well, Lizardmen are a great start. They have great models, and are incredibly powerful in the newest edition of the game. They are a fairly economical army, as you can field a sizable army for a comparatively low amount of money.
Skaven have cool models and a great background, but require lots and lots of models to field an army. This makes them one of the most expensive armies to put on the table.
Chaos is also a good choice for beginners. Cool models, small units sizes, and tough units make for a forgiving table top experience.
My personal advice is find a friend and run the Island of Blood set into the ground for a while. The two armies are designed to be balanced against one another, and provide complimentary gaming experiences.
Lastly, I encourage you to avoid one classic mistake. Don’t try to buy an entire army at once. Buy the army book, a couple of core units, and a leader. DON’T BUY ANY MORE, until you have built and played with those. Try painting a few to see if you like what’s going on. Only then, buy more. Otherwise, you wind up like us old timers with a half-dozen unfinished armies in your closets because you got overwhelmed or something shinier came along.
