Im 15 years old and joining the marines when im 17, what can i do to get myself ready?
Im just a little bit overweight but I was wondering what i can do. I have acess to my local gym and a pool, any ex-marines or others could you please give me some tips?

Start by working on your endurance. That’s going to be a key thing. The Marines are tough and you’ll have to go hard and fast to make it. Start by walking then running and just keep going til you wanna drop, then let you mind over ride that and keep going.
Swim and run sprints in the pool.
Start to eat less and better, this will help that weight come off.
Do 10 push-ups and 20 sit-ups when you get out of bed, then throughout the day just drop and do it again.
Push yourself a little further each time.
In about 2 weeks, your gonna start to notice a difference. Keep going.
It’s nice to hear about a guy like you thinking abuot the future.
