Do freshwater Snowflake eels need a little bit of salt water in their tank?
I have a 75 gallon tank and I herd that freshwater eels needed at least a little bit of salt water in their tank but I don’t know if it is true.
Snowflakes, while sold as “freshwater”, aren’t. They’re brackish fish (and sometimes marine) so in order to survive your tank needs to go brackish! See this link:

Presuming the “Snowflake” you’re talking about is something like Gymnothorax polyuranodon it needs a minimum salinity of 1.008 – 1.012 (you need a hydrometer to measure the salinity, or SG).
