How to start a Warhammer 40k army?
I’m new to the whole Warhammer 40k stuff and am currently reading the Horus Heresy book “Fallen Angels” (thats how i got into Warhammer, and Dawn of War 2 :p).
I was thinking of starting a Space Marine army but am not sure what i need to do paint-wise. I see all these really well made figurines and whatnot but i dont know if you must apply the paint, reapply a second coating, and polish the shit. I dont have the tools for it as of now because im still debating on how much work it would take for just a squad of space marines lol.
Is it a long, drawn-out process or is it like an hour’s work per figure?
With practice you can churn out respectable figures in an hour to 90 minutes. I suggest you look at painting guides on youtube as they tend to say how long it takes them to do each stage.
