Warhammer 40K:Carnifex and other upgrades.?
Alright I’m trying to understand here.
If I had the model “Carnifex”(Tyranid)
It gives me a choice of having three type of weapons
venom canon, blah, blah etc.
Well when I look at it’s page theres many options to choose upgrades, Weapons, biomorphs etc.
So do I need to buy these upgrades or do I choose them when
I start a game..and hopefully me and my opponent can remember what we choose..??
please be detail and simplistically!
You have to choose your weapons and upgrades when you build the model! The Tyranid Carnifex sprues comes with parts to represent all the possible biomorphs and weapons. If you’re not sure which is which, take a look at the GW US website, which has an article in the Tyranids section that explains what they all are.
It is possible to use magnets to have swappable weapons and biomorphs, but it’s a pretty advanced piece of modelling. Most people design their army list and then build their troops accordingly.
So:
1. Pick weapons and biomorphs and other upgrades.
2. Build model.
3. Paint model.
4. Play game.
