Warhammer 40k Tyranid help?
Hello everyone for my B day im getting the newest version of the Tyranid battle force and im wondering what elite and heavy support to get first. I bought a Pyrovore from ebay because it was at such a low price I couldn’t resist.
Is a Pyrovore a good elite to start with? Compared to veonthrope and the Hive Guard? I need some help to choosing good elite choices to start with.
Also should I buy a Carnifex or a Trygon as heavy support? I’m leaning towards a Trygon just for the mere fact its big and looks very detailed and awesome but I wont mind a carnifex either. I need someones opinion about which to get.

well it really depends on how you are going to play the army, and what you want it to look like
there is no such thing as a bad elite or bad troops choice, the new codexs are rather fair
there some things i don’t use in my guard army, they aren’t bad but they don’t fit in my army
example: i use storm troopers, over priced (points) yes but they do there job and are cool and go with my army, i don’t use psyker battle squads very effective but i don’t need them
