(War hammer 40k): How can i glue my metal models together without superglue?
I have some super glue at another house which i can get tommorw easy… but i just got off work and my mail just came in with some new models and i dont have any glue to glue them… i have plastic glue but no superglue. is there any way i can glue them togeather without using superglue that wont damage the models or should i just wait till tormmow?
You should use 2-part Epoxy… plastic cement or Elmer’s simply won’t work on metal.
What you SHOULD do while waiting for access to Epoxy or Superglue is to CLEAN the parts in a gentle dish-soap and water mixture and rinse with a GENTLE acid like white-vinegar.
THEN take jewelers files and clean up any flash and seams… THEN give the parts a coat of spray auto-primer. You might also drill tiny holes in the joints and cut pins so that when you DO have superglue access, the parts will hold together better.
Figures take TIME to assemble and paint properly…
