Can You Prim Plastic Miniatures with Plain Black Spray Paint?
I am going to be painting an army of Warhammer 40k models and wondered if i could just spray black spray paint on them to prime them or if i need a special type. I would prefer not to buy prime from games workshop. THanks
Yes you can, but get a primer, not just black paint (theres a chance that models will melt if you take a cheap primer. The ones from army painter are easy to get, cheap and they work just as well as the gw ones, only ~$8 per can instead of $12, i suggest to use those.
